Hello Fuzzbutts!

This week’s tip that I want to recommend is for your to pick a goal and sign up for something related to that goal. Want to get better at art? Sign up for a painting lesson. Improving your fitness? Sign up for a walk that supports a cause like breast cancer research or something more fun like a mud run and spartan race. Get better at dancing? There’s events you can go to!

The reason behind this is to add a layer of discipline and accountability. Having trouble getting to the gym? Well that race or running event is only a couple months away so you better get in there! Can’t sit down and draw? Well now you have two hours blocked off on Thursday to sit down and paint!

One part that is important is to make it social, even if it’s not with your friends. Just being around others makes it a totally different experience than if you just tried to do it yourself on your own.  One thing we furries need to do more of is behind out and about in public! As long as it’s even just somewhat related to your goals, it’s worth investing in!

Here’s my result of a Sip n’ Paint event I did this week. For those unaware, you pay and get a canvas, paints, and can enjoy some alcohol while an artist instructs you on how to make a painting! Fun at any level!
